RECYCLING: THE OLD STORY OF A YOUNG WORD

Currently, and until March 17, 2011 is taking place in Madrid in MNAD (National Museum of Decorative Arts), this temporary exhibition. The title refers to the comparative sample between objects of the present and the past where either of the known ecoleyes (recycling, reuse, conservation, utilization and savings).
The aim is to seek dialogue between the objects of the past and contemporary, comparing the old economy with the current domestic social awareness and sustainable consumption that prevails today.

Intrachooto Singh (Awarded by Elle Decor Designer of the Year 2007) associated with Veeranuch Tanchookiat, owns Osisu company in Thailand (Bangkok), performs and produces functional designs that integrates local arts and crafts with contemporary aesthetics. Each model is pure passion OSISU craft. Obtains its raw material waste of the works (the carpenters working on the study of Osisu use scrap wood left over from the buildings designed by Singh, to make contemporary furniture). RECYCLING AND SECOND LIFE FOR WALLPAPERS

The Dutch designer Inke Heiland , recycle and turns has been given a second life to the wallpapers used years ago (60 or 70, characterized by retro designs), beautiful hand-made silhouettes of animals and elements of nature: elephants, giraffes , crocodiles, leaves, trees and so on.
All are different, because printing irregularities and unforgiving years, creating original designs exclusive.

GIVING A SECOND CHANCE
REUSE AND OBJECTS UPDATE

Creative 19a has sought to give a second chance, do you leave in the box? or join the elegance of classic and traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, giving a new life, and creating a model "Aurora Cow."

The new design is hand painted, not stickers. The tea set that can be seen in the first picture is the model "White Dawn", held in the " Cartuja "in Seville, prestigious pottery, folk art known worldwide.
This wonderful tea set was a wedding gift, never got out of the box and its emvoltorio. To their owners was too classic not fit with the décor of your home.
