GREENHOUSE MADE WITH RECYCLED WINDSHIELD GLASS VEHICLE
A few days ago the French architect Sébastien Ramirez , got in touch with us, for us to know your work has been recycled. With zero budget and recovered materials as timber, logs and windshield glass or crystals made his project vehicle emissions.

In his first research project focused on materials: "A greenhouse, you need to take the light and heat." The first thought was to use corrugated polycarbonate, but it was too expensive for your budget. Sebastián Ramírez que es un arquitecto de recursos pensó en los parabrisas que no se agrietan y son “maleable”. After studying various materials and check that did not fit into their calculations. Sebastián Ramírez is a resource architect thought of the windshield will not crack and are "malleable".

The foundation is composed of eight logs of wood 1m long and 60 cm depth has nailed sloping roof. A beam front to the back of a belt Ridge. Otherwise, the structure is constructed according to the size of the windshield, which combine like a slate roof, ie nailed the top and bottom with the help of a bent nail. Prudent hammering here and there in the glass allows Sebastian Ramirez double its way to the windshield. The highest point is 3.50 m, and the lowest 2.50 m, which prevents water infiltration and move easily inside the greenhouse.

The idea is wonderful, but long term I think you will have a problem especially in the upper
the problem is the next to fold the windshield and glass crack ke let water and moisture to penetrate and so the interior of the moon will suffer
This part has two special features called glutiral one is transparency and the other is the oxidation they will know this matter is transported and handled at low temperatures is that if it gets wet instead of being transparent it will become white and opaque
My suggestion would be to change the shape of the roof and windshield `ke these top bent not so much
I hope critika ke is constructive and do not take this wrong a Greeting
THE IDEA THANK ME SEEMS VERY GOOD PLACE TO THINK KE RESOURCES throw and nous

Hello Eugen,
Thanks for your comment, no problem with your criticism is very constructive, I like to know more notice of those.
This greenhouse was contruydo 2 years ago in the northeast of France where it is very cold in winter to -20 º each year, on time and therefore will not rust.
It is true that the top of the ridge-pole, does not let much light, but it is so from the beginning, to build it.
If I am interested in studying the history, you can become a facebook fan page "Serra seems the breeze"
By the time we 4, all the pictures on facebook.
I keep looking for other ways to recycle for architecture.
Thank you very much for writing about this XS architecture.

Very good idea, my congratulations to the author. Luckily there are those who do care about the impact it may have on our environment wastes that are thrown around.
Greetings.
