I've always thought that having plants at home or office air quality improvement, purifying the air. Some interiors are unhealthy (especially in offices without windows or have staff working in spaces too small). Why not help these plants has a bit of technology?. The Bel-Air ( Mathieu Lehanneur ) is an air filter. Capsule mini greenhouse full of plants that inside has a very high humidity, although the exterior is running the air conditioning (which dries the air) the outside air flowing into the cubicle is returned to our room, filtering and more adequate moisture. The Bel-Air is based on NASA research shortly after the first space flight. Astronauts returning from long trips within the capsules of plastic, fiberglass, fire retardants and had high levels of volatile organic compounds in their bodies. Not surprisingly, not unlike many environments inside buildings subject to the Earth.
The research results led NASA to "garden space" - the flora that could be used in space flight to help maintain healthy recirculated air. NASA found that plants are most effective.

The Bel-Air is not small, measuring approximately 40 cm high and a diameter of 40 to 50 cm.
