The architect Shigeru Ban is the clearest example of sustainable architecture and green, brilliantly uses recyclable materials and traditionally neglected as paper, cardboard and bamboo creating structures that are held in place by the surprising strength of recycled paper tubes. We can see in his magnificent work of the flag of Japan. His latest role is a bridge over the river Gardón located in the southeast of France, made with a structure based on 281 paper tubes that can withstand the weight of up to 20 people at a time. Since we can not see, it was dismantled in September to prevent rain water deteriorate.

ECOLOGICAL FIREPLACES (CON BIOALCOHOL)

Posted by 19biS.com on Dec 23 2007 | New Trends

ORGANIC FIRE

New alternative fuel, designed to heat the house without heating, without having to sacrifice trees for wood. It is a biochimenea that you can install anywhere in your house, not a simulated fire electrically. It is a fuel called bio-alcohol, no pollution, no mess and no fumes. I find it very interesting, now we have to see how it works.

ECOLOGICAL DESIGN AND OBJECTS MADE BY SUGAR

Posted by 19biS.com on Dec 16 2007 | Eco-Design

Lamp made with sugar

Sugar not only serves to make Christmas cakes. Making a plastic cup involves a process that lasts 6 months, use 10 minutes and then stays without fading for 200 years. This evidence is working on the ecology-conscious designers. One of the most original, practical and well presented is that of Emiliano Godoy . This young Mexican designer has combined the popular practice of making candy, with the scientific research process, to result in marketable objects of beauty with the least impact to the environment (candle holders, lamps, golf tees, targets skeet, hangers ...). Multicolored objects are composite materials made of sugar, totally disposable as they dissolve in water, does not melt with heat or become sticky and very importantly, does not attract insects. Your site has not wasted ;-) And here I leave you: http://www.godoylab.com

storing electrical energy from apple pomace

Researchers pantentan way of storing electrical energy from pulp from the apple cider and juice. The main advantage of the new system compared to existing is its reduced ability contaminant, derived from that in their preparation no harsh chemicals are used. Environmental benefits saving money, since it would reuse a residue of the apple pulp industries generating cider and juice. The producers of this waste would save the cost of deleting it, and the companies producing the activated carbon material obtained in exchange for an easy and economical. (Source lne.es )

ORGANIC MATERIAL ORGANIC AND RENEWABLE. "ENEA"

Posted by 19biS.com on Dec 06 2007 | Decoration Natural

I am interested in the latest materials used in ecological design now offering eco-design directions that are working with experimental super result.

We always think of new things out of our country are the best, forgetting our traditions. In countries that are supposedly more advanced than nostro use their surrounding materials. We should apply the same concept "Use the closest." We must have information about the traditions that surround us, of all current and innovative and able to combine.

Today I want to introduce the first all-natural material in the blog. Forgotten years ago and used traditionally for centuries by our ancestors, (the lifetime) the " ENEA ". My proposal is to study this material and apply it to modern design furniture and decorative items.
